We are excited to share the latest updates rolling out to the ValPay Portal on June 19, 2026. Here's what's new:
🚀 What's New
Apply and onboard directly in the portal (New): New and prospective merchants in the US and Canada can now complete onboarding entirely within the ValPay portal — no separate redirect. The guided, step-by-step application covers business and legal details, decision-makers and ownership, and bank account information, with document uploads, masked sensitive fields, and electronic signing of the required agreements. Merchants can save their progress and pick up right where they left off, and a welcome screen shows exactly what's left to finish or verify. Sales agents can also send a secure, personalized application link directly to a merchant to complete on their own. Note: This experience is rolling out gradually and may not appear on every account right away.
Clearer onboarding messages: Onboarding now displays friendlier, easier-to-understand messages (in English and French) when something needs attention, with guidance surfaced directly on the step that needs fixing.
French-language Terms & Conditions: Eligible merchants are now shown Terms & Conditions in French when French is their preferred language.
