Here's what changed in ValPay Portal release 1.1.37, live July 3, 2026:
Control how your store appears on statements: A new "Statement Descriptors" section on each store's details page lets you set how the store name shows up on your customers' card statements and on your own bank statement for payouts. There's a live preview and clear character limits as you type. For the small number of card types that can't update instantly, the change request now goes to our payments provider automatically — no need to submit it separately.
Easier multi-select in Payments filters: The Stores filter on the Payments page now stays open while you pick multiple stores, matching how the Merchants filter already works.
Cleaner document uploads during onboarding: Long file names no longer overflow the page during the business-document upload step. Names get shortened neatly, and the Replace and Remove buttons stay visible and usable.
Terms & Conditions in French: Merchants on participating brands who've set French as their preferred language now see the French version of the Terms & Conditions during onboarding.
