Power On the Terminal
Connect the terminal to a power supply using the power plug.
Press and hold the power button until the display turns on.
Let the battery charge for at least four hours while you continue with the next steps.
Select Your Language
On the Welcome screen, select your language.
Select the arrow button to continue to network setup.
If connecting to Wi-Fi
On the Setup Wi-Fi screen, select the + icon.
Turn on the WLAN toggle switch.
Select a Wi-Fi network from the list, or select the + icon and enter the name (SSID) of your Wi-Fi network manually.
Enter the Wi-Fi password.
Select OK.
The terminal sets this network as default and automatically connects to it. You will now see a Wi-Fi icon at the top of the display.
If connecting to Ethernet
Connect an Ethernet cable to the ETH port on the Cube Ethernet dongle.
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your wall Ethernet port.
Connect the Cube Ethernet dongle to the terminal.
Board the Terminal
Once connected to the network, the terminal will display the Confirm store screen.
Verify the store name shown is correct, then select the check mark button to assign the terminal to your store.
If the store shown is incorrect, use the edit button to change it.
⚠️ If the Confirm store screen does not appear, wait for the next sync with the Adyen platform (on average three hours) and try again.
Boarding can take up to 30 minutes. The device may restart multiple times during this process.
Once complete, the terminal will display the Adyen idle screen.
The boarding process is now complete.
Switching your Wi-Fi network after the terminal is boarded
On the terminal, select Settings > Network.
Enter your passcode when prompted.
Select Wi-Fi.
You can now:
Turn Wi-Fi on or off using the WLAN toggle switch.
Add another network using the instructions under "If connecting to Wi-Fi" above.
